Easy Balsamic Chicken

Add this to your list of fast, easy ways to turn standard boneless, skinless chicken breasts into dinner on a busy night.

This recipe barely requires you to chop the onion, and then it’s just sprinkling on oil, vinegar, and spices and sauteing the chicken until it’s done.

It really can’t get any easier, and seriously, who doesn’t love the taste of balsamic chicken?

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces

1/2 large onion, chopped

1-2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

1/2 tablespoon dried oregano



Easy Balsamic Chicken
  1. In large skillet, heat oil and sauté chicken pieces until no longer pink and juices run clear.
  2. Remove chicken and put on plate.
  3. Sauté onions in same skillet over low heat until translucent.
  4. Add back to skillet chicken and then add balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar, and oregano and cook for approximately 5 more minutes.

This one is simple and classic, meaning it will appeal to nearly everyone. It includes heart-healthy olive oil and the single most antioxidant-rich spice, oregano. Leave the salt shaker in the cabinet—you won’t need it.
