If anyone ever tells you they’re too intimidated to cook fish at home, send them this Dijon Salmon recipe.

It’s really as simple as making dinner gets, which makes it a good one to add to your regular repertoire.

The Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and soy sauce (use liquid aminos instead if you want to make it gluten-free) add flavor without excess calories. Serve with your favorite green veggies or salad for an easy, healthy meal.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 salmon filet
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce

DIRECTIONS

  • Place fish in shallow baking dish.
  • Spread mustard over fish and then pour lemon juice and soy sauce on top.
  • Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Bake at 350 F for approximately 10 minutes.

WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

We tell you to eat salmon all the time, we can’t help it. It’s those omega-3s and the many incredible ways they benefit your heart and brain. Oh, and did we mention it’s a great source of vitamin D and selenium?
