Kelly Cunningham
Kelly Cunningham is a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Integrative Health Coach through Duke Integrative Medicine, Holistic Health Practitioner, and has been a psychology professor for undergraduate students. She began her career in Tulsa, OK, at Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital. She was an inpatient and outpatient therapist in the nationally-known Eating Disorder Program. After Laureate, she began her own private practice. During this time, she began to seek a more positive and holistic way of relating with clients. Duke Integrative Medicine provided a wealth of knowledge, and a new lens to focus on the whole client, not just their illness. She began an alliance with Lisa Larkin, MD and Associates focusing on overall wellness goals with clients. There she focused on stress management from caretaking roles, anxiety, and its physical ramifications. Additional focus included healthy coping skills, work/life balance, education presentations on balanced living skills, and taking charge of one’s health. After moving to the suburbs of Chicago, Kelly was a group facilitator at the Career Resource Center in Lake Forest, IL. She implemented monthly education on stress management and confidence building during career transitions. She was also a personal coach to those seeking more of a one-on-one preference. Kelly was a therapist with Associates of Health Psychology on the east coast before her latest training in executive and personal coaching. At the College of Executive Coaching she broadened her skills to include assessments such as Myers Briggs, building leadership skills, emotional intelligence and team building. She currently resides in Southern California providing services to a national client base.
