This recipe seriously combines the best of two food worlds.

Think of the zesty guac you make for taco night (and crave, um, every night). Now, imagine the tangy Mediterranean yogurt dip that dresses up a plate of Greek food. We dreamed up a genius way you can have both, at once.

Use it to flavor grilled chicken, to top fresh fish, or as the perfect dip to pair with a pile of raw veggies.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 medium avocado
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (or 1 fresh lime)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon tahini

DIRECTIONS

  • To a high speed blender or food processor, add all ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Serve and enjoy!

WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

Who needs sour cream or mayo when you’ve got protein- and probiotic-rich yogurt to use as a dip base? Avocado adds healthy fats, while garlic and chili powder contribute antioxidants…and obviously lots of flavor.
