Pumpkin Yogurt Mask

Come October, let’s face it, you’re going to start putting pumpkin in everything.

Lattes, muffins, pancakes, pies.

Why not also put it all over your face? DIY beauty fixes, after all, save you lots of money (sorry, Sephora), and ensure you’re not putting potentially harmful chemicals on your skin.

Just beware: If someone walks in while you’ve got this mask on, they may get a nice fright, even if it’s not Halloween yet.

Tip: For an additional exfoliating boost, add in a tablespoon of oats.

1 Serving


1/4 cup pumpkin puree (fresh or unsweetened canned)

1/2 teaspoon honey

1 tablespoon Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon rolled oats



Pumpkin Yogurt Mask
  1. Mix ingredients together in small bowl.
  2. Apply to face and leave on for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Rinse face with warm water and pat dry with a towel.


Pumpkins contain lots of carotenoids, which protect the skin from sun damage and free radicals. A creamy yogurt base makes skin feel firmer. Honey is loaded with antioxidants to keep skin looking young, fights acne-creating bacteria, and helps keep skin hydrated.
