Sometimes you buy Greek yogurt or a carton of milk and then the last dregs sit at the bottom in your fridge. Not enough for a full serving. Too much to throw out.

Here’s a way to use them without wasting a drop.

Use a few teaspoons to make this DIY face cleanser, which requires just three simple food ingredients. Just remember to keep it in the refrigerator, not your bathroom cabinet.

WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

Milk, yogurt, and sour cream contain lactic acid, which gently exfoliates skin and stimulates collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm and supple. Meanwhile, pink grapefruit pulp may protect skin from sun damage and the formation of free radicals.
