1 Serving

1/2 cup milk (nut, oat, cow)

1 cup brewed coffee or espresso

6 cubes ice

dash nutmeg

dash allspice

dash cinnamon

Spicy Iced Latte
  1. Brew 1 cup of coffee or espresso—set aside
  2. Pour 1/2 cup of your favorite milk over some ice in your cocktail shaker
  3. Add a pinch of nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon to shaker
  4. Top off with coffee and shake
  5. Pour mixture into your favorite glass and enjoy!

In addition to saving money, the spices used here are full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits. And they’re good for the gut too.  Cinnamon has been found to help in the regulation of intestinal microbiota and acts as a prebiotic promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
