17 Next-Level Ways to Eat Oats

By Sarah Sarway

Oats are one of the best breakfast foods available to healthy eaters. They’re heart-healthy and filling and are packed with protein, fiber, and antioxidants.

One thing you might not know about the famed affordable food, though? They work really well with a myriad of different flavors and ingredients that go beyond the standard breakfast bowl.

Oats—rolled or steel-cut—can be blended or baked, turned into bread or muffins, and even make for a great way to coat and pan-fry your favorite proteins (see ya later, breadcrumbs).

Here, we share some of our favorite next-level, sweet and savory ways to use that bulk bin tub you brought home.
