Frozen Hot Chocolate Smoothie

Confused by the fact that the words “frozen” and “hot” are right next to each other in the name of this recipe? Don’t worry, there’s nothing warm about this smoothie (ew).  But it does taste like hot chocolate thanks to the combination of plant based protein, cinnamon, and chili powder. Hence, the name. Doubt you’ve ever had spinach or banana in your hot cocoa, but you get the general idea.    

Ingredients

1 scoop Life's Abundance Chocolate Plant Protein
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
3/4 cup baby spinach
1/2 banana, frozen
1/2 tablespoon peanut butter
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon chili powder

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
