If anyone ever tells you they’re too intimidated to cook fish at home, send them this Dijon Salmon recipe. It’s really as simple as making dinner gets, which makes it a good one to add to your regular repertoire. The Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and soy sauce (use liquid aminos instead if you want to make it gluten-free) add flavor without excess calories. Serve with your favorite green veggies or salad for an easy, healthy meal.

Ingredients

1 salmon filet
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce

Directions

  1. Place fish in shallow baking dish.
  2. Spread mustard over fish and then pour lemon juice and soy sauce on top.
  3. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Bake at 350 F for approximately 10 minutes.
