WHY WE LOVE IT In addition to saving money, the spices used here are full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits. And they’re good for the gut too.  Cinnamon has been found to help in the regulation of intestinal microbiota and acts as a prebiotic promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut.    —Recipe and photo courtesy of Ilene Salmieri, Nutritious Life Certified and founder of Avocado + Squats
