Pomegranate Champagne

Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1

With this recipe, you can go from just serving champagne at a party (which is totally acceptable) to looking like a certified mixologist. All it takes is a splash of pomegranate and a splash of club soda, and you can call it a cocktail. Remember that next time you’re making any drink. Add a lime to a rum and coke, for instance, and it’s a Cuba Libre. The only real challenge to bartending is figuring out how to seem like you care about everyone’s problems. Maybe stick to drink-mixing at home.

Ingredients

3 ounces champagne
1 ounce club soda
splash of pomegranate juice (about 1 tablespoon)
Pomegranate seeds to garnish (about 1 tablespoon)

Directions

  1. Combine liquids in a champagne flute and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE Let’s be honest—any occasion is an occasion for champagne. To spruce up a simple flute of bubbly, look no further than the pomegranate. These little jewels may be small, but they are loaded with polyphenols, AKA powerful antioxidants. Cheers!
