Broiling is an amazing way to cook fish. It’s super fast, and the the fish stays moist on the inside (no long cook times to dry it out) while crisping up on the outside. This approach to a delicious white fish filet also keeps the seasoning simple (in a good way), resulting in a peppery, zesty dish best served alongside lots of veggies.

Ingredients

4 ounces cod
to taste sea salt
to taste freshly ground black pepper
1/3 juice lemon wedge
to taste paprika

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler. Season fish with sea salt, pepper, lemon juice and paprika.
  2. Broil 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 8 to 12 minutes.
  3. If you prefer to bake fish, bake at 375-475°F for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on thickness.
