Here’s a list of some things you can cut into thin slices made for dipping and call “fries”: carrots, cucumbers, roasted sweet potatoes…and apples. Call them fries and kids will want to eat them, right? Okay, even if they’re not tricked by the clever nomenclature, it’s still a tasty, crowd-pleasing snack you can whip up in two minutes flat. Just make sure you’re using the best ingredients: look for peanut butter that has one ingredient—peanuts—or just a tiny bit of added salt.

Ingredients

6 ounces Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons peanut butter
1 apple, cut into small "sticks"

Directions

  1. Mix yogurt with peanut butter until smooth.
  2. Cut apples into thin “fries."
  3. Dip fries into yogurt dip.
WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE Apples and nut butter have always been great together, but this adds gut-healthy yogurt to protein-rich peanut butter for a snack that really delivers a nutrient boost.
