People are often surprised by the fact that I’m not a big proponent of New Year’s resolutions, especially since I’m such a goal-oriented person.

But this time of year, I find that the indulgence-followed-by-resolution mindset can often set people up for failure when it comes to developing healthy habits (and especially when it comes to weight loss).
