“Loaded” nachos these are not, but they do deliver amazing crunchy, salty nacho flavor in just a few quick minutes, without destroying your healthy diet. Making your own tortilla chips means they’re baked instead of fried and aren’t doused in cheap oils, and chips out of the oven just taste better, too. And chunky, veggie-packed salsa (spicy if you like it!) and avocado are really all you need to feel like you’re embracing fresh Mexican flavors.

Ingredients

6 10" whole wheat tortillas (or corn tortillas)
1 teaspoon sea salt
3 avocados, sliced
1 cup salsa

Directions

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Cut tortillas into quarters.
  3. Sprinkle with sea salt and bake approximately 5 minutes and then, set aside.
  4. Chop avocado into 1/2 inch cubes and mix into salsa.
  5. Place on top of toasted tortilla.
