CAN DO: serve it up


Every #MotivationMonday I’m challenging you to bring out a slightly better version of YOU…by Friday. I’ve been working hard on getting my nutrition certification up and running and there is a tidbit in there that made me think of you. I tell my students to #serveitup. What serving it up means is offering a little piece of helpful advice or health tip that will benefit someone else with no expectation of any return. It’s an act of kindness (or healthfulness!). It’s my version of paying it forward. This week I am challenging you to serve it up at least two times a day.


Very unfortunately, there is a lot of bad energy, tragedy and sadness in the world. We’re constantly bombarded with negativity and it is up to us to turn it around.  Simple acts can do just that.  Next time you go to the water cooler fill your bottle and bring  slices of lemon for your colleagues. Tell the bridesmaid to be that you just found a blog about feeling confident wearing strapless. Forward a recipe to your friend who complains he cannot eat another salad. Put healthy positivity into the universe and it will be perpetuated!
